Paying Tax at the Post Office

From 15 December 2017 you will no longer be able to pay your tax at the Post Office.

 

HMRC will accept cheque payments by post, although they are encouraging online payments.

It wouldn’t be unreasonable to think they don’t want us to pay our taxes as they look to remove ways which have traditionally been popular with making tax payments.
